headlights for 2k GLE

Guys, thinking of upgrading the headlights on my 2k GLE to the nicer looking 2k2-2k3 Xenon ones. They will fit, correct, or is there some other consideration/options I should look at?
How are these knockoffs available on eBay and such? thanks

A few members have purchased those. If your budge allows, I'd check the classified section here to see if anyone is selling their HIDs. A much better look IMO. I'd also steer away from the 2k2-2k3 used HIDs on ebay.

Yeah, save your money and get the OEM HID's. Much better quality than those projectors. And yes, they are a direct fitment in the 2K-2K1's. All you need is the grey clips from the 2K2-2K3 headlights and the wiring harnesses.

Please bear another dumb question - are halo/projector headlights implying they are the bright xenons? Thanks

k this is what my friend did since $600 for headlights is a little ridiculous- he just did the AE mod to his stock lights. its the easiest damn thing and it looks hella better than stock. all ya gotta do it get a heat gun and open up the headlight and then there are some screws on the reflector housing. get some soapy water and literally rub off the shiny part. i dont have a pic, but im sure there is some one on here who does

Rico would you be able to provide a link to the mod, or who sells it? Thanks.
