Has anyone had issues with the 5spd and a short throw shifter kit from Stillen? Mine is popping out of 4th gear at steady speed. Guy at the dealer was blaming the shifter not allowing the linkage to engage fully. I've had it for over 3 years, and didnt have the problem until a few weeks ago when I did a tranny fluid change, using the Redline mt90 gl4, same as before. Car has 47000 miles. Anyone have any suggestions? Anyone know of a place that will do custom ratios if I do have to replace the tranny?

 

i'm fairly sure if the car is popping out of gear it is a tranny issue and not your STS. I have the stillen sts along with other socal maximas with no issues
