I tried that whole turn the key press 5 times wait 7 secs press and hold for 10 seconds but nothing is happening. I wrote a few private messages to some here in this forum and yes they were online but no one wrote me back. Can someone please help me the light just came on and I just had the oil changed a couple of weeks ago, I don't know if it is like the honda where everytime you get the oil changed you have to push the key in this certain spot on the odometer. I have a 6 spd 2k2 if that helps, thank you.

 

Nothing to do with you oil change. If you have an autozone nearby, go there and tell them you're throwing a code. They can pull it and tell you what's wrong (and turn it off too).

 

use a stopwatch or watch, if youve got one...

i can get it however, every time without one on the first or second try.

start pressing between the 3rd and 4th second, and 7th and 8th second. i start with a '1' count, so i start pressing just after i count '4', and holding just after '8'

make sure youre not resting your foot on the pedal beforehand.

make sure your floor mat isnt getting in the way, as well as pressing all the way and releasing every time.

 

The timing of the reset procedure is pretty tricky. Make sure you time it perfectly...
