Yet another strange sound

OK, i've noticed when i hit the gas (only when in gear) there is a constant whine that increases as speed increases. Its not the standard MT whine, but a higher pitched whine during acceleration and holding a steady speed. This just started last night and from what i have read it does not sound like the noise a wheel bearing makes. Its pretty noticeable but when i let off the gas it goes away. I'm 100% certain that it has never made this sound before but i cant figure out what it is. Has anyone ever experienced this with their max?

wow, i was wondering where i heard that 'standard MT whine' line before...lol, how come you just didn't ask in your old thread?
anyway, it sounds to me like it's just the intake whine....mine has done it ever since i bought the car a year ago, but whenever my GAB (ghetto air box) is installed, i can't hear it because there's not so much air trying to get into such a tight spot anymore....

If i recall correctly it was implied as a question in the last one, I was up late last night trying to figure it out so maybe not. But since then and know it has steadily grown louder. Its definitely not the air box or anything affiliated with the air box, its in the drive.
