because Stillen will not sell a S/C to anyone with an automatic, it has to be a stick. i dont know how "legal" it is, or whatever, but there doesnt seem to be any harm in this, cant you just go to a dealer lot and read one of the VINs off a used car?

its probably just so stillen can cover their asses in case something DOES happen. there are people on the site with auto trannies and S/Cs, but just so someone doesnt come back to Stillen and cry cuz they blew their trans, they do that.

Here's the vin for a 2000 5 speed. I work at a car dealership and sold this one a few months ago. I'm not sure if it's an SE or GXE.
