anyone know if the nissan slot fed 6 disc cd changer can be controlled by the stock cd/tape head unit?
i'd like to buy one and just mount it in the glove compartment.
for that matter, how about any clarion cd changer?

 

The slot-fed changer will work with a single-din radio for sure, but I don't know about a double-din. If you have a double-din receiver, then the only Clarion changer that will work with the stock unit is the OEM one, model CV737. The Nissan accessories catalog says that the slot-fed one will be, "full logic with all Nissan 1-Din AM/FM stereo receivers." It doesn't say anything about the double-din one.
