Problem with fogs

My fog light went out so i went in to replace it. when i got in i noticed that the filament didnt appear to be burnt out. i replaced the bulb and the new one didnt light up until i shook it some. is it possible to check for a short and fix it or should i just replace the assembly? where can i get the assembly other than the dealership?

ck for an open.

make sure the terminals are clean and tight, check where the bulb seats into the housing... thats your ground path.

ck for other wiring damage. you have a voltmeter or test light?
