I just recieved my front and rear illuminas. Strangely enough, there were holes in the boxes for the rear struts that had been caused by the plates that support the springs rubbing against the box.

So I open them up and the first strut seems fine. When I open up the second box, the spring support plate... or whatever it is called, was moving up and down the strut. It doesnt look like it was ever welded there, but do you think I should hammer this thing back down into place or send it back for new stock? I got it from the importcarsplus group deal...

A little peeved at the moment, was hoping to get these on asap!

 

Send it in for a new one.

 

call the store and send it back.. if you screw it up more then you won't have any warranty...

 

send back....tell them to get you a new one ASAP since it's defective.
