Install a high-flow cat and/or a quality resonator to quiet things up. I read something on magnaflow's site about building your own exhaust and they mentioned something about how high-flow cats and good resonators don't restrict much flow. Something to think about.

Unlikely they'll fit without significant modification....plus, we don't have a "dimple" in the bumper for the second pipe....

do you mean for the g35 coupe mufflers? i don't think those would fit our cars at all since the spare tire is in the way. i think the g35 sedan mufflers will fit...just need to saw off stock muffler and weld on g muffler and maybe some extension since the g muffler is a bit smaller than our stock ones. haha i hope it's that easy.

yeah sorry....I had "coupe" on the brain. My mind is apparently not all here in this specific thread..

just wondering - why not go with Frankencar...the tone is similar to the G sedan and it's stainless steel as well.....and it's a direct fit. I would assume the G muffler (like most OEM mufflers) is not stainless, and will just rust out in a few years just like the maxima stockers do....it does a good job keeping it quiet and should tone down the setup you have.

it shouldn't be too much of a problem...i'm thinking it's just cutting off the stock muffler and problly need an extension connecting the pipe to the g35 muffler since it's smaller than our stock ones. and i think the hangers also need to be rewelded and that should be it.

The question is, are all the hangers in the same location. You might have to weld those on also, otherwise you'll have a funny lookin' angle on that muff! And yes, DEFINETLY Post sound clips! I want to hear what this sounds like!
