2000 tail lights in a 2002

I am thinking of buying a 2002 Maxima, but I don't like the tail lights as much as I like the ones out of a 2000 (blacked out). My question is will the tail lights out of a 2000 fit in a 2002? Or did they change something between then that they won't fit.

You'll just need colored bulbs for the signals.

You're also going to need the harnesses. The harnesses are different between the 2K-2K1's and 2K2-2K3's. Whichever tailights' year you're going to use, just make sure you have the approriate year for the harness also...and then it's plug and play. One more note, the 2K-2K1 SE tails have a special bulb for the turn signal--type PY21W. Philips makes these in amber. (A regular 1156 or 1157 does not fit and sit right in the socket to make it work).
