Drive shafts?

Has anyone experienced noise or vibration coming from the wheels? Just looked under car and found ripped CV boots. Has anyone replace theirs? How hard is it?

New axle is $50 - $100 depending on where you get it from (not including stealership) - remove wheel, remove axle nut, if its the passenger side axle, remove the three bolts for the mid-bearing support, disconnect tie-rod from steering knuckle, remove axle. Install in opposite order. Get a haynes or chiltons manual. It will save you a ton of time and money, and keep you alive by doing the maintenace correctly. Hope you have a big breaker bar the axle nut.
