02/03 hids

i have a 2k1 and whant 02/03 hids where is the best place to buy them. I have seen them on Ebay Aftermarket for about $600.00 ?

if by aftermarket you mean the projector headlights, no. the light output is about as equal as putting a halogen bulb. if you're going to go with the projector lights, do the projector conversion/upgrade. the projector housings are probably $150 and the conversion kit will be around $250-300. prices of course differ on which set-up you're doing. Dr. Roy and others have done this conversion and i believe there's a how-to on it.

The OEM's are about the best you can get. Look on the Org., there are some people on here that offer great deals, or you can shop on Ebay. Just look out for those "stolen" ones with the broken tabs and everything. If you decide to go with the aftermarket replicas, I heard they are somewhat good, but they tend to haze up the lens housing, not like the OEM's. Also, the replicas use different ballasts (Philips) which is not much difference than the OEM's. If I were you, I would stick with the OEM's. Look on Ebay, and bid accordingly on a nice set. That is where I bought mine, and proud of how they look on my 2K. Check out my homepage for pics.
