o2 SENSOR HELP

I tried searching FAQ's and couldn't find this, so don't flame me if it's in there.

Does anyone know the following:

a) color of the wire for Heated O2 sensor #2 Bank 1 from a 2002 GLE and

b) the oem part number

The idiots at my local dealership tell me I need this info to get the correct part

Thanks,
Keith

I am getting a P0140 Code

I am getting a P0140 no activity Code Bank 1 Sensor 2 on my 2001 GLE. I replaced it with the proper white wire Bosch 13374 Autozone Sku 18730016. I paid $95 for mine and it was time consuming to replace because there are push pins every 6 inches and some of them are impossible to reach. Anyway get this...

After replacing this sensor THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS STILL ON!!! Same code!!! I dont know where to go from here.

Did you actually clear the code? If not it may take a number of starts before it clears. If you did clear it and it came back. You may have a short/open in the circuit.

I left

I left the battery unhooked for a few hours, came back and started it up. The check engine light was on from the moment I started it. Same code. I checked all the wiring and everything looks good. Not sure what to do from here.

I've done some searching already and havent found much.

Anyone have any ideas?

that tsb only applies to 5.5 gens and isnt for p0140 anyway.

lol, finding the part number is HIS job, not yours.

the signal wire is white, IIRC...

cobra, did you get the sensor with the connector alreay there or did you solder it on?

how did you pull the code?

I had P1147 B1S2 and this part fixed it without replacing both sensors or the ECU reflash. Hope this helps.

full one

I got the O2 with the proper connector on it. Its making good contact, but the check engine light is on and Im out $100

It seems like o2 related check engine lights are a common thing on these cars, I dont know if I want the stealership to take over but I dont know what else to try.

I pulled the code at Autozone on a pretty serious looking OBDII scanner.

Any other ideas for me?

It is for 2000-2002 and P0140 is one of the codes listed.
