Done LCA Bushings (ES)? Step inside....
Just a quick question for you guys....
Was working on switching the LCA bushings to the Energy Suspension ones today...anyhow, as you can see below, the final outcome looks a bit different from stock. Is this how it's supposed to look? I think it's a bit odd that the on the ES bushings, the metal tube in the middle doesn't reach the ends (i.e. it's inset from the rubber lip on both ends), while the stock ones the metal goes all the way to the end nuts.
Maybe this is right, but want to make sure
this is the small bushing for the bush pin link, not the large one btw...
(btw, before anyone asks whythe one control arm is red - it' because I chipped some of the powdercoat while it was clamped to remove the bushings, and just sprayed it with a can that was sitting around on the bench (believe it or not, I couldn't find any black! )
