I can say that I've ordered my red bulbs from http://www.autodynamic.com , which is the same place I have orderd my clear rear side-markers from.

I find Polarg bulbs to be the most red; otherwise, the bulbs end up pinkish: you get what you pay for.

To find the Polarg bulbs on AutoDynamic.com:
- Go to http://www.autodynamic.com
- Click "Light Bulbs" on upper-left of page
- Scroll down and click on "Polarg Super White Bulbs"
- Find "12 Volt, 5 W Plug In Type, US Type 168
Single Filament"

These are the "push in" type. About $8. Don't go with the $3 ones...they'll look pink.

Also, if you order from autodynamic.com, 1 pack contains 2 bulbs. You can go with clear bulbs, but you run the risk of . If you want clear, I would recommend PIAA wedge bulbs.

I use the PIAAs in the doors, the trunk, and the primary overhead interior light. They look much cleaner, and the light output is much clear, although not as much. The light output on the door or the trunk has not been a problem, nor has it been a problem for the primary interior light. I swapped out the map light with a PIAA and I found it did not provide enough light, though.

Can you find out what brand? I found the PIAA I put back there put out some light, and it was clear, but I feel as if it did not spread the light around as much. I'd like to open the door and that thing light up the cabin fully, regardless of anybody in the back seat.

Another place to find the Polarg red bulbs is http://www.autofreak.net/lightf.html (thanks Y2KevSE). The model is M21 and is the 194 size bulb, or "small push-in wedge type." I have these on my car and I think they do the job.

RED LEDs

Looks like the LEDs are not made in ths country. I trying to get some made but would be cheaper to buy parts in bulk. They would fit all 194 (inside doors, front and rear markers). Prototypes look RED but they are not that bright.
Comments welcome! How much would you be willing to pay? thanks
