5spd swap. AE Diff
Alright we'll i have an AE Maxima and since my auto tranny comes with VLSD, and i'm about to do a 5spd swap, will my AE VLSD from my auto fit onto the 5spd transmission?

The limited slip in a 5spd distributes torque from the wheel that is spinning to the one that's not - it doesn't limit engine output, etc. In my opinion, it's way beter than the VLSD system. AE's are equipped with viscous coupling limited slip, which engages quite smoothly for a limited slip and is regarded as very drivable, but is limited in the amount of torque that it can distribute to the non'spinning wheel. Some of the folks on the .org hold a high opinion of this tranny's durability.

AUTO AEs have VLSD also, and hes asking if he can swap the diff out for a LSD one.
A33 - you can't, the trans case on a non LSD 5spd is diff than the LSD one, and at the same time the diffs are different.
