What makes the 00-01 different from the 02-03 as far as installing a front lip? I read somewhere that the 00-01 does not fit the 02-03, but the front bumpers on those years look the same. Please clarify for me.

fog light and lower grill openings are bigger on the 02-03 hence why the lips are not interchangeable

 

I bought a 00-01 lip for my 02 and modified it just alittle bit. I really like how it turned out.

 

What exactly did you have to modify?
