Hey Greek, have you seen what the brace looks like in terms of quality? I tend to think you get what you pay for. Of course there are always exceptions

The FSTB that Performance Improvement sells are basically the Vibrant FSTBs atleast the one for hte 4th Gens. I'm guessing its the same for the 5th gens too.

Also there are a few other ricer shops that sell the FSTB for the same price.

Any idea how their FSTB compares to the Courtesy and Stillen in terms of quality?

They both function the same, its just that they look OEM, when compared to the Stillen bar.

Looks are different, performance in the same.

I bought my Vibrant FSTB from Performance Improvements for my '99 max for $50Canadian plus $5 tax. Those idiots made me wait 5 months for the FSTB and they didn't even bother to phone me and let me know where it was. When I bought it, they said it would take only 2-3 weeks. I wouldn't recommend that shop especially if your going to ship it down to the states.

BTW, I'm guessing that these FSTB's that they're selling are made by Vibrant performance. They are almost identical to Courtesy and Streetbeats FSTB's but with black ends not red.

Nathan, there's a store near my place that claims that they sell FSTB and can get it to you within 4 days. Same for clears.

I'm not sure of the name..and they don't have a website.

My friend bought some stuff from there: glow in the dark pedals, shifter ****, rear-view mirror, small stuff like that. He didn't order anything though. Everything he got was from the store itself.

I can show the place in person, its on Silver Star Rd., off Midland Ave.

Oh that place. It's like a 2 minutes drive from my house. There's like 3 or 4 car stores in that area. My friend is buying a shogun body kit and springs for his MX-6 from one of the shops but I can't remember there name.

Yeah there are a bunch of stores there. Most of them only have catalogues and lights on display! One of them has intakes/body kits/spoliers all in their store.

Have you seen the store that has the modded BMW right outside? That car is sick!

madd, actually if I drive fast enough and hit every green light, I can make it to Midland and Silverstar in 1 minute. Yeah, we should definitly meet up sometime.

I finally covered my subwoofer box in carpet so it looks pretty decent now. I'm just ****ed off because my sister took the car out today and scratched up the entire trunlid some areas right down to the metal. I'm going to have to repaint the entire trunck and I might shave off the keyhole while I'm at it. Do you know of any shops that can do the painting and shave the keyhole for a good price?

I've actually never seen a modded BMW there. I've seen this phat black '99 240sx with dual exhaust and a full body kit, as well as a lot of civic hatchbacks.

Don't speed on Midland man..they got bored popos there! I've seen quite a few of them, hell one of them just waits outside my street, ready to pounce on a victim.

Yeah we should definately meet up, sometime next weekend? After that, you gotta give me two weeks to start and finish exams..then I'm free for the summer!

For body work, you could check out those stores on Silver Star, but I'm not sure about their work. I also have scratches on the trunk lid, especially when my mom puts her grocerys on it as she unlocks the trunk or whatever...scratches are part of my mods man! I got a nice scratch on the hood cause of my dumbass-ness. Wanted to show off how smooth my wax job was, so I put a bottle of wax on it so it would slide down. The bottom had some rought edges to it, so it scratched the hood!!! The paint is soo freaking soft its not even funny!! :<

But yeah..that's been my story of the day.
