ecu flash?

ecu flash?

I have a 3.5l 6speed and I was thinking about sending out my ecu to get flashed by technosquare. I don't know whats better the MAXFLASH for $495 or the Limited Spec (L-SPEC) Flash for $345. Or is it not worth doing. Haven't seen any dynos on 6speeds and I know an auto did the max flash and didn't see an improvement when he dynoed. If I did decide to do this would I have to reprogram all of my keys at the dealer after the ecu is unplugged?

Should I just go with the apexi safc-II? If I went with this how easy is it to install? and do I need a harness? I seen them pretty cheap on ebay. This is much cheaper than going through the hassle of sending out my ecu.

The reason for all of this is because I plan on doing headers and I dont want my car to run to rich or lean.

I'd try the headers and s-afc first and see how that goes for you.

The L-spec should be your last option (IMO) if you wanted to hit the track to take advantage of those extra rpms.

The drive by wire remapping should def be felt at higher RPMS since it leaves the throttle plate open 100% throughout all the powerband instead of it closing up to 20% sometimes when you rev it up to redline

Get the L-spec but then get the s-afc done to make the maximum out of that reflash

go with the s-afc. I got the reflash on my auto SE. I got no improvement in h.p. I actually lost some h.p. , biggest wast of $500
