question on injectors

I'm getting ready to do a VQ35 swap in a 4th Gen and have some very minor questions.

1) Are the injectors the same as the VQ30 or are they larger?
2) I've been told that since I'm running an upgraded fuel pump I should not need to worry about a FPR, is this accurate?
3) I've been told that the accessories are a direct transition, is that accurate?
4) Same rules/part #'s for spark plugs? (i.e. 2 step colder for 75 shot)
5) What about an adjustable FMU? Necessary?

These are just some items I have left for followup. I've been told answers to all of them by a couple people but I wanted to present it to the masses cuz I'm just paranoid like that.

FYI, she'll have Cattman Headers and an SAFCII/LM1 tuning combination which I'll be zeroing out and starting from scratch on.

The N2O kit is NX (of course ), the FP is from a 300ZXTT and ran FI just fine up to 278.8whp. The car is set up for high horsepower in everything around the engine so all that is moot.

VQ35DE: 335cc @ 3.5 BAR (FBJC100, 350z etc.)
And for answers to your other questions, have ya tried posting in/looking through the All Motor forum? There's a Sticky there about the 3.5 swap that may be of use to you if you haven't already seen it.

oh yes..believe me I've been through it all but there are always different opinions on things that are posted. I just like to throw things that are "semi-known" out for discussion because there is usually always someone that says something new in that respect.

Thank you for your injector input. Hmmm...I wonder..will the 350Z injectors fit? I may go this route for the little bit of extra juice if it's possible.

1) Different. You will have to change the injector harness connectors along with the injectors. 350Z injectors will work, I believe.
2) It is advisable to use an adjustable fpr. The VQ35 fuel rail does not have a fpr in it like the 4th gen does. I know that at least one person didn't use a fpr at all with satisfactory results (or so he claims), but that is really no way to do things. You can make a pseudo-returnless system using a tee in the fuel line going to the fuel rail.
3) Yes.
4) Don't see why not. Those rules are generic, not specific to VQ30s.
5) You don't need a fmu unless you are boosting.

Thank you Stephen. Just today these last few things are coming into clearer picture in my mind. I know now that the stock 5.5 fuel rail does not have an exit (return). This was were I was scratching my head and like "huh? where does that return go".

So I will now begin shopping for a good FPR as per the stickies.

i used a megan FPR off ebay. seems to be pretty decent quality for the money. i run the pseudo returnless system @ 4bar.
