I havent taken a look at a 00-01, but I assume one is the cruise control and the other goes to the pedal. Trace the one that goes back to the fire wall. Or if they are both loose, take the play out of both.

Do not take the play out! The throttle one goes to the actuator, it is a half-moon shaped thing on the side of the throttle body. Take off the ribbed hose from the front of the throttle body. Second adjust it so that the cable tension just starts to open the throttle body, and then back off the nut 1-2 turns. Then lock down. You can do the same for the cruise control cable. This is how the FSM instructs to do it. If you tighten it up with no play, you will mess up acceleration and fuel economy.

mine is tightened to only one thread left with no play in the cable. there are no side effects such as messed up acceleration or poor fuel economy. i know there have been issues of them being overtightened and snapping but i have had no issues as of yet.
