Just bought Stock NAV for my 02 MAX few Questions

Ok i have a few questions
I have a 2002 Max SE all the option Except NAV. I just purchased the stock NAV with the Bose Reciever for less than $200 Garenteed to work or my money back. The thing is its with no wiring at all except the ones that are actually built in to the reciever if any(I dont know yet, i orderd it and its coming later this week). The Bose 6 CD Receiver and the Auto Climite control are in my car right now but the Nav has the built in Climate control and seperate Bose Reciever so What will i have to buy to hook it up......New wiring harness..ect....????

good luck, someone else attempted this, and i dont know if he ever got it to work or not. everyone else says go aftermarket nav if you really want it, but for $200 bux if you want to attempt the wiring nightmare it seems to be, good luck!

I think he wasn't too far off from finishing it, but ran out of patience:

yeah, that sucks. i would have liked to have seen it done, but i do agree it seems like a lot of work, time and patience. i wonder if you could just order an OEM harness with the nav and go that route?

thanks for the link, its over a yr old so imagine he is not doing it now anyway..

hope ya get it done, I've been wanting to do this for a while but wanted to see someone actually finish it.

Won't help with wiring but this may help a bit if it's different than ours.

the reason they are so cheap is because nobody can get them to work. You might just want to get the navi on and leave your stock climate controls. You would have to move it but extended the harness is much easier and has been done.

I would love to see somebody complete it, but i just seems like a very time consuming project that you'd have to devote lots of time and energy and maybe money to get it completed. I agree with everyone else that just buy aftermarket and call it a day!!!

its not time consuming as it is expensive

that auto climate control feature which you have to buy and put in the passenger kick panel is the expensive beast, plus getting the new wiring harness

the eclipse was easier and better and easily swapable if i sell the car...you cant go wrong with the eclipse

If you want to make a profit I have a 02 with Nav and I will buy the stock Nav unit from you just to have a backup. I would not want to buy a new one from the dealer if mine ever died.
