Starting issue

Fifty percent of the time my car turns over slow.

When it finally "ignites" the engine dies, if I don't give it a smidget of gas pedal.

Is it the starter?

The Battery?

The Alternator?

Spark plugs (plats) and coils were changed at 88k, the car now has 149k.
At around 95k I got the Nissan Fuel/induction service done.

On a side note where is a cheap place to get front rotors and pads.

Are there any codes?

Take each of the items in question to have them checked out at AutoZone.

Yes there is a code. It's the PO430 Bank 2 Low efficiency catalyst. Which means Front Pre-cat has gone to ****. But evidently this does not affect performance just emissions i.e. if I were to get a smog check they'd be all, "fix dat **** boy!"

by the way.. on a cold start, o2 sensors are ignored until operating temp. if ur starter turns over slow all the time, it might be a current problem to ur starter, or ur starter might be starting to die. check IACV/motor. idle air control valve/motor. i dont knwo where that is, and i've asked, but have gotten no response. perhaps i should start a thread. might be stuck closed, thus causing inefficient air flow. yes, i will do that.

Wonderful piece of advice. All of you have been great. I'm gonna do the autozone electrical check and then go from there. I had a feeling it could be the IACV valve.
