The "JDM" lights look like they would fit an 00-01. They can go into a 03, but would have a gap. The projector lights look like they would fit an 03 with no gap. Are you trying to replace your HID's with halogen or looking to put in the non-HID housing with an HID upgrade? Give us more info here please.

Neither, but if I had to choose, I would go with option #2.

Instead of scrambling to get 15 posts to start this thread, you woulda been better served doing some reading and searching to get opinions on these headlights....

1st link was to "JDM" 00-01 headlights and 2nd link was to eBay projectors.... and I thought I included a link to a previous thread on the 00-01 blacked out AE-style headlights, but I'm too lazy to go back and check.

Yes, overall consensus is that they have crappy output unless you do a retrofit.

Very worth the $20... I basically used that $20 to buy a bunch of knowledge...

I heard the eBay projects have very poor lighting. They look and probably aren't "cheap" but the light output just sucks. I do like the "JDM" lights... these aren't really "JDM" though... it's basically a darker version of the AE lights... I was thinking bout swapping them with my AE lights but who knows... might not be worth it until I see them on the car!

He wants to change them from 2003 headlights to those because he doesn't like the orange reflector in the 2003 headlights.

is this a serious question? why in the hell would you want to change HIDs to some halogens? you would truly be flamed upon if you down graded from HIDs to halogens, or if you like me to put it in other terms....i want to trade my maxima in for a civic. not trying to talk crap about 2k-2k1 maximas but who would be stupid enough to want halogens if you have stock HIDs?

our car use to exist in japan back in the 1980s and they were rear wheel drive too from what ive heard. other than that i think they call them "JDM" probably because they are made in japan ?

Maximas existed in Asia, back then it was called a Datsun 810 I believe. When I lived in the Philippines there's a lot of those there. RHD/RWD..

Do not go from your HID's to these POS's. If you don't like the orange corner bulb, clear your headlights (FAQ's and How-To's).
