Just wondering... the only one I ever found is sitting in the garage. It has all options EXCEPT climate control/leather/power passenger seat.

Do you have the heated outside mirrors as well? I think those came with the heated seats. Personally I didn't know cloth heated seats were available.

 

Yea, I got heated cloth seats on my 00 SE. I got every option but leather and climate control which I didn’t care for.

I agree with you. When was your max built? Ours was June or July 00 (late model year car)

 

I only saw 1 other max with heated cloth seats, but it was an option

 

I'm not sure how it works on 5th gen Maximas, or Nissan in general, but heated mirrors on the Max has some kind of little emblem depicting that it is indeed heated? I know on my Ford vehicles, the deciding factors were the little emblems. On my 2k max, I have leather heated seats, but do not know whether it has heated mirrors, and there isn't any emblems or logos that can prove that it has heated mirrors.

IIRC... the heated mirrors were part of the option that got the heated seats. I find it interesting Nissan lumps those together. Some manufacturers lump heated mirrors with rear defrost.

 

My 2K2 had the Meridian package (heated seats, mirrors, steering wheel) with cloth too. I purposely got that, so that I could later put in custom leather...which I did.

You what pisses me off about my G35? I've got every option there is, Nav, etc... Comes w/heated seats and mirrors, but NO STEERING WHEEL!

From the responses, I have found frost (my car) and sand. I would have expected charcoal but noone has mentioned their coloros

 

Never knew cloth came with heats from the factory. This gives me the impression that the factory has the wiring (ready) for those that want to install heaters on their non-heated factory seats.

I believe heated mirrors/steering wheel/seats were the meridian package on 02-03.

I thought you could only get meridian if you had TE.

 

I think you are right on both thoughts. I would expect wiring to be in place (cheaper to produce one harness instead of two would be my guess)

Meridian changed in the 5.5 gens because 17" wheels were standard but were opt on the 5th gen (at least 2k) which would lead me to believe that if one got an SE with 16" wheels then there were no heated seats....

 

i got grey cloth and heated seats in my 2k

 

i have charcoal cloth heated seats, heated steering wheel and heated mirrors. i didnt know about any kind of option packages when i bought it. it was the only 6-speed on the lot and i purchased in lieu of a sentra se-r (strangely the max was cheaper in the long run). as far as wheels go mone had 20"s on it at the dealership.

 

I have charcoal cloth but no heaters hah. Hopefully the near future will include a custom heated leather seats package. Real near future as its freezin here in FL, well for me at least. I have been told by a nissan tech that the cars are prewired for this option though.

On second thought, the same tech told me that a nissan altima shifter trim bezel with the giant pocket was the 02 trim when asking him about upgrading mine. I wanted to get it for my 00 and wanted to see if it came w/ the insert for the ash tray and he brings out an automatic trim piece for the altima. Mine is a manual anyways so this guy isnt the most reputable person I've talked to...

 

same thing with my Q! however the i35 does come with heated wheel and mirrors along with seats. you would think they'd put that in the upper tier models too..especially the flagship...go figure...
