2k2-2k3 HLSD 6speed owners step in - weird issue
I noticed in the rain, or snow, when you accelerate, my car always pulls right...
When i accelerate and my car brakes traction, no matter where i am the car goes right and i need turn the wheel to the left.
At first, when i had my 19's on, i thought it was the tires, but i habve new winter tires one, and it does the same thing.
Do you guys know what could cause this? I wouldnt be so concerned if the car drifted left or right, but always right makes me wonder.
I thought HLSD was suppose to give both wheels solid power to eliminate the open diff problems (which for sure would make the car drift)..

Just to point out, HLSD doesn't "give both wheels solid power". It transfers the power to the wheel with the most traction, as opposed to an open diff where the power takes the path of least resistance and goes to the wheel which is slipping. For example, you take a turn and the inside wheel starts slipping, the HLSD will transfer the power to the outer wheel to get you forward.
As for your issue, I don't know enough about this stuff yet, but I'll do some research later. I'm sure someone who knows more will chime in at some point.

I think its normal cause its snowing here today and my car was doing the same thing. It seemed to pull slightly to the right/passenger side. I just figured it must be the wheel with the most traction so it give that wheel power causing it to pull slightly...

HLSD doesn't stop torque steer. Is this only when accelerating?
If not you have a problem with your alignment. Camber is not adjustable so get camber kits and you will be able to compensate for a pull.

Well thats the thing, it only pulls to the right when both tires on are the same slippery surface. not just sometimes, but ALL THE TIME when the tires spin (ie snow). Never pulls to the left.
I had the alignment check and it is okay. I wonder if this may be a Defective HLSD...
