Oil Light
On my way to work this morning, I noticed my little oil can light came on. It continued to go on then off throughout my 65 mile drive. When I got to work, I waited a half hour and checked the oil. The level was between L and H on my dip stick. Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

The oil light is there to replace an oil pressure gauge. For some reason you have an oil pressure problem. It could be an oil pump going bad, plugged, or maybe you mixed oils? Dino and synthetic have, though rarely, had coagulation problems.

Did it flash more at idle than at highway speeds? You could check oil pressure by installing a mechanical gauge where the oil pressure switch screws into the block...
