I got them and installed them I'll have to throw up a pick when I get the chance. They look really good brighter than I expected.

 

post them up...do you have HIDS? I wanna see how they'll look with some non-HID headlights.

 

NicE! Remember to aim your foglights a little higher to get better looks....it should improve the road visibility by a tad as well...just don't aim them too high or else visibility will decrease

 

I ordered a pair last night.....both my PIAA Super Plasma (non GTX) blew since Saturday,within 1 day of each other.

 

I had super plasma non GTX for almost 2yrs now before I took them off for these luminics....they did a job well done...how long have you had yers for?

 

did u order directly from lumincs? i ordered them on 12/15 and they sent me an email saying it was shipped. but then i got another email, after i inquired about the status of my order, and they told me they were out of stock and they charged my CC too.

 

So let me get this right, I need the H3 bulbs in yellow for that look. How hard is the install cause I checked my owners manual and its a secret. I have an 02 se

I figured out how to do it but is this a plug and play thing or do I have to change something other than the bulbs. My fogs are factory and I only want to change the bulbs

 

I've had mine for about 14 months. Longer than some, but still not very reliable IMO.

Yes, I did order directly from them. I also got an email today that the bulbs had been shipped, but my CC has not been charged, or it has not shown up in my on line account status.

I sent the following email to Luminics:

I would like you to re-confirm that the JDM yellow bulbs have indeed shipped and are not on backorder. I have read on some auto forums that you have sent an email confirming shipment but in fact did not have the bulbs in stock. I will also remind you that it would be illegal to charge my credit card for the purchase if you have not shipped the bulbs.

If in fact the bulbs are backordered, please inform me immediately and do not make a charge to my credit card. Thank you.

Steven, might you be able to shed any light on this 'backordered' stuff? IIRC, your original post said that you got yours through a friend of the owner of the company, correct?

 

Hey, as far as I know...the last word I got from Peter (owner of luminics)....he told me the JDM Yellow bulbs that I bought from him, are the ones sitting around his warehouse...they are NOT part of the shipment that you guys are getting...at the time of my luminics purchase...he told me a BIG shipment of yellow H3s are being sent to him at the moment....that was last Tuesday when he told me...I only bought two sets total (one for me and one for 1fstmax)

 

I just got an email from Scott at Luminics. He confirmed that the large bulb order you are talking about is due to clear customs tomorrow evening so hopefully they will be able to start filling backorders very soon.

 

same thing happened here i ordered mine on 12/12, i called them and they told me to expect them sometime late this week.

 

i'm still waiting for mine as well....

 

Got an email from Scott yesterday saying that he should receive the bulbs (and i am assuming after customs and actually in his shop) in 1-2 days. then who knows what's next with all this holiday mail traffic since shipping is USPS. hope i don't get another email from them saying that they are delayed cuz of all the holiday stuff...lol. that would bite.

also from steven88's replies, seems like the owner and the website are not the same. if they are the same, don't see why the last box the owner has can't fill the back orders first...maybe they're stocking stuffers...lol. but correct me if im wrong.

That's what still irks me. My credit card was charged the day I ordered and got a misleading email saying that the bulbs were shipped. Also, the entire ordering process never indicated that CA residents would pay tax. Only noticed cuz I got charged more than the price advertised. I didn't get that upset about the tax part; so then I was hoping I should get the bulbs by Saturday...but nothing. Must be a one-man operation or something so everything is set to auto reply...

I don't have a link. In Wisconsin, I believe that a company cannot charge your CC if they don't have the item in stock. If the item in not in stock, they need your permission to charge your credit card for that item.

 

why dont you just call the number on his website and ask him directly. I had a package get lost and set another with tracking info. All i did was call him and talk to him on the phone. remember that he is in Cali when u call from NY though.

wow im sorry to hear all the missing orders....I just didn't know luminics was selling so many of these....well don't worry becuz they WILL be in soon...it will be a big shipment that will last a long time!
