I'm looking at the Eibach Pro springs for my 2K1. I hear I can do a 0.8" drop? Is this drop adjustable with everything else stock? I have a FSTB and RSB now.....how will my ride differ in comfort (bumps) and handling? What is the going market price for the springs? What should the intall time be including alignment? Do the back seats have to come out at all during install (I hope this isn't a stupid question?) Any other feedback at all would be awesome!

No need to remove the back seats for the install.

Oh yeah... make sure they cut the bumpstop (cut off one ring).

Alignment on all 3 took 0.5 hrs.
5 hours good lord~!~!~~!
I think I'd commit suicide at that point.

I can also teach how to use pliers to compress the rear brake piston, and do it in a parking lot.
Maybe build a supercharger out of Home Depot components ?

Springs should cost ~230 (shox.com) unless you can get them used. My install took like 8 hours cause we didn't know what we were doing and we took breaks including lunches and we had to get a new ratchet (mine broke) and then a breaker bar. Air tools and a lift would significantly reduce the install time.

shox.com at $230 sounds great! Checkin' it out now. Talked to a tuner today (does everything but Maximas) and he is saying I should go with H&R. They are a little lower than Eibachs but he said they are better performance wise. I assume I lose more comfort with the H&R over Eibachs?

Get a new pair from the junkyard if you do mess up.
