perhaps not, but they have several 32nd's less tread on them now...the Proxes 4/FZ4 use a fairly soft material. The point was more of an inside joke to a couple people about the RE92s....you see, many people with RE92's that aren't even worn out....they like to take their RE92's out to a parking lot and burn out a bunch of times to intentionally trash the tires, then they have an excuse to buy new ones!!

btw, I use the Proxes 4 myself

I think they are more funny than anything. I can only imagine how funny it looked roasting the hell out of my old nokians in my four door family sedan.

Critics agree that Toyo Proxes smoke 30percent more than the leading Bridgestone Potenzas

wow this thread sucks.

3 second burnouts in a fwd car are nothing to rave about.

as for the car, its a great car and has good power for a family sedan, but come on man, if youve ever been in a real sports car (m3, vette, mustang, or even a Z) its really nothing to rave about. dont get me wrong i love my max and wouldnt trade it for any other 4 door and im not knocking it, but its really not that much power compared to other things that are out there. its prob your first car or at least first nice car so you prob dont agree but once youve been in faster cars it loses that affect that it once had for me.

i love my max but it is not a race car

unreal...people in maximas doing burnouts and then bragging about it?

If you had a car which had alot of power--then it would be something to write about..

More later...im now going to go install some NOS into my Dodge Omni.

its cold so the tires dont grip that well, combined with cold air and salt residue on the asphalt takes no effort to light them up
come back when you can do this in the 100 degree heat in the summer hehe

Lol, this is exactly why I am bragging about it. It is my first real car, plus it is a family sedan. I am really comparing it to a camry here as I have not driven anything else. Shouldn't be any flaming of people for this, even though there is no comparison.

If he posted a vid of a new Ford GT, C6, Z06, F430, Enzo... doing a burnout in the parking lot, you all would be saying how sweet it is.
yea, how true is that...some maxima enthusiast they are thumbsup: people are sensitive these days like women jus pms about anything

Any "highpower" car do a burnout, the real trick is getting an under powered one to smoke em up

Like early 90's Escorts, Geo Metros... Now that is fun. My brother used to buy old a** beaters like them JUST to beat the hell out of them. Keep in mind he always had 400+hp cars sitting at home as well, the crappy ones were just more fun.
