We are having a problem here in S. Florida with road debris especially in major highways. There have been many incidents of folks getting killed by debris. Not too long ago this teenage girl got impaled to her seat by a metal rod that went through her windshield. Last week I was a victim of this killer road junk and my poor baby got the brunt of it. I was traveling on I-95 and the car infrot of me ran over these metal chunks which got thrown like a projectile towards my car causing two gashes on the side of my car. I thank god that those pieces of metal did not hit my windshield otherwise I might not be here to tell the tale.

Boy, that was a close one!, glad to be alive!.

Glad that you are alright. That is crazy stuff. I-95 can be a killer in many ways. Have you gotten an estimate, or is the damage not that severe?

Gald you're okay. Sorry to hear about your Maxima, though.

Man, that's one freaky stretch of road you got there in South Florida! That story about the lady buying it with a metal rod through the windshild while driving is almost the stuff of horror films or some other kind of movie. Sad, but wild nonetheless.

Thanks for all the kind remarks.....

Although the scratches are pretty deep, I am sure they can be taken care of with a good paint stick. Thankfully the metal pieces hit the side of my car and not the hood or the windshield. BTW the girl that got impaled with the metal rod survived.
