Steering wheel controls for mpg, temp, etc rewire with aftermarket HU?

Does anyone know how I can rewire the steering wheel controls so I can scroll thru the mpg, temp, and other stats now that I've installed an after market head unit? Also, would it be possible to hook it up to the after market head unit to control the volume and track selection? Thanks for the help, in advance, guys!!!

That's good for the stereo controls, but what about the trip controls? Right now the display only shows the outside temp., but it won't let me scroll thru to see the mpg or remaining gas mileage.

There is a connector that was connected to the back of the stock radio. If you look at the wires that are on it, you should find a brown wire. You need to ground this wire. What you should do is strip back the wire casing (don't cut the wire in case you want to reconnect the stock radio). Wrap the exposed wire to one of the screws that holds the bottom of the radio bracket in the dash. Make sure its tight and your info computer should work as normal.
