Reverse Glow Gauges Power Question.
Reverse Glow Gauges Power Question.
I bought these off ebay and installed them today.

But I am unsure of what power line to use to power them. They sent me instructions and said the following about the power.
"Next you will have to find an adequate power source. The inverter for the indiglos is very sensitive. You could burn it out if the wattage is too high. For this reason, search for a HEADLIGHT. Find something power source (NOT A LIGHT DIMMER OR A FOG LIGHT SWITCH) A power source that powers you taillights for example. Contact the power and ground, and your done. Put everything back together in the reverse step as you pulled everything out."
So i am alittle nerves about blowing them up. can someone please tell me what color the headlight wire is. Please help.

You can power them off any interior light source which powers on whenever the parking lights are turned on. To be safe, just install an in-line fuse (5 amps or so) in the indiglo power wire. This way, if anything goes wrong, your indiglos are safe as well as the power source your tapping off.
