Well i installed a set of the eBay White Gauges on my 2k max and i think i screwed up the motor on both tach and speedo because they umm dont move... the fuel and thermostat work fine... Soooooooo my question is, tomorrow when i goto the junkyard, will a 2001/02/03 gauge cluster work on my 2000 plugs?! I heard somewhere that they do and to unplug the TCS blub so it doesnt act up.. any help would be greatly appreciated guys!

 

so does anyone know if the speed clusters are plug n play across the years...

 

How did you screw them up? Did you press them back on to hard? Try doing it over. Also, if you ordered the Import Intelligence set, call them and ask them for advice. I ordered a custom one from them and I did not think their instructions were too clear so I called them.

 

Im not exactly sure what happened, but considering that the Tach doesnt spin at all and that the speedo sticks and i didnt calibrate it... Just ordered from Dave B... For those are interested the 2000-2003 Gauges are plug and play but need to be adjusted for different tire sizes between the years... 01 SE gauge was only $200 overnighted so not tooooo bad... thanks for you help guys! it was appreciated!
