Maxima fog lenses are cracked

Hey i just washed my car and noticed that both of my foglights are cracked. Will i have to buy whole new foglights or can i purchase the lenses separate? Does anyone know where i can buy new fog lenses at?

Very common problem with our foglights. One of mine has been cracked since last winter. Just haven't had a chance to replace.

No one has found an easy way to replace the lense to date. I bought my driver's side replacement (entire foglight with bulb and harness) on eBay for 55 shipped.

but when you do replace it, make sure you use that 3M film to help protect the lenses... I did and it helps...

thats funny also last week i washed my car twice and the lights were on still....1st wash pass side cracked..2nd wash drivers side cracked....but im using sylvania silverstars and they have yet to blow out. BUT can we put 5gen fogs into our 5.5gens? When I used to have my 2K, never had any cracking problems, using the same bulbs. anyone try this yet?

i repaired my cracked lens with the fix windshield repair resin you get from auto parts store. it worked. my fog light was out since it was getting moisture in, but now its sealed up so i replaced the bulbs and its working again. the crack disappears too.

If you use the film to help protect your fogs, make sure not to cheap out on it. Some films will cause the fog to crack as well.

My passenger side fog lens was cracked, and my driver's side lens was fine. I used Lamin-X yellow film overlays on both lenses to protect them from further damage and to turn the fogs yellow.
