Need to know about the Bose Head unit
Please dont move this because I need to know about the 5.5 gen headunit specifically and I cant seem to get help in the audio forum.
I am going to be adding an amp and sub to my bose headunit. I am still deciding on whether to use the Pac unit or a high-low converter to get the RCA inputs but supposedly you need to connect the "Remote" connection on the amp to a wire on the back of the headunit so the amp turns on when the head unit comes on. Does anyone know which wire this is on the back of the bose unit?
Thanks

btw I found this site which tells the color of all the wires on the back of the headunit. Which one should I connect to the amp so that it powers on when the head unit powers on and feeds it 12 volts and wont blow any fuses when the amp is drawing power.

Also what guage wire did you use for your setup? I Am running probably between 400-700 watts RMS.

Wait, I'm thinking of something else.
If you hook up the PAC AOEM-NIS2, it should just be simple plug and play (if memory serves correctly). You then run the RCAs from the adapter to your amp(s), and the remote wire from the adapter to the remote wire(s) on your amp(s).
