Very slick mounting of the XM receiver. Two thumbs up from Siskel (from the grave) & Ebert. One of the best mounting jobs I've seen.

Penguin - the ashtray pops out if you pop out one side at a time with a small flathead screwdriver.

Also...though I'm not big on the SE on the gauges, they look VERY clean and professionally-done...so another thumbs up from Roeper

There is 2 pieces. The ash tray snaps out. Use a flat head screw driver and push against the sides. Be careful not to crack the plastic. The inner piece comes out by taking out a screw.

Appreciate it. It took awhile being careful with removing the needles.

I likes those guages. Any nite pics? For your headunit, though, you should get the GXE kit...looks more cleaner and stock. Other than that, everything looks good. Good job!

Thanks guys, but where can I get the GXE kit from and what does it look like?
I will take some night pics tomorrow. I'm too lazy to do it right now.

The GXE kit looks like this...(the yellow arrows pointing to). It's a factory Nissan part found in the GXE's model radio unit. You're better off buying one from an org. member, because they are quite pricey, if bought new.

Thanks, I see your point. But will it really match the rest of my panels? My max is the Titanium Edition. The panels are different in this model.

Can you buy the GXE model radio dash kit from anywhere else other then the dealer or used from the org?

It's a genuine Nissan factory part, so you're only going to find it from a Nissan dealer if bought new. Here is a place, just slightly under $100.00, or better yet, maybe a local junkyard if your lucky.

Looks good. Is the "SE" on the tach guage part of the overlay, or did you apply that there? I like that alot. But, now that you used these overlays, you could probably make the lighting behind the guages somewhat brighter now that you removed the stock ones.

Yes, the "SE" is part of the overlay. I kind of do want the gauges a little brighter. But then again I like the way the needles are brighter then the numbers. The pictures are not that great and the gauges look better in person.

Thanks Irish that's a good idea, but is this kit a different color from the Titanium Edition? Or are they the same? Thanks

Thanks,
The gauges were plain. I had a company customize them with the addition of the "SE" and "MPH" and "rpm".

The GXE kit is not TE color. It's the standard grey color. I bought one that was custom painted but it broke...no pics though.
