engine hesitation

i just bought a 2000 GXE about two and a half weeks ago...im noticing on occasion when i give it enogh throttle for the auto tranny to down shift the car won't pull like it should...you can really feel it hesitating and if you listen closely you can hear some sort of clicking...this doesnt happen all the time but it does annoy me ...is this a common problem, that there is a quick fix for, i'm tempted to take it back to the dealer and have them check it out but like i said it only happens once in a while...and if it doesnt do it when they are checkin the car out they're gonna tell me there is nothing wrong with it...any feedback would be appreciated

MAF. No clue what the clicking is but i've had the same on several cars including the max prior to the maf change.

Also at one point you have to feed it fuel cleaner.... so do that.
