Leather seat switch

I am wondering if anyone has ever taken the leather off the front two seats and switched them, or if it is even possible.

why- because my drivers seat if becoming more worn than the passengers seat.

I don't know if this is possible, but have you tried some leather renew-type stuff? On another thread, a guy asked if it was worth it to get leather seats for his 2000: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=451711 I'd try that before I purchased new seats, which I need to because mine are obviously well-worn.
