For all you Projector Freaks

I don't care about projectors much, but did find this to be an interesting mod. This is the first time I've seen this conversion. This was found at an Ebay auction while skimming to see what was out there and can be seen here, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-...QQcmdZViewItem

I haven't seen projectors retro fitted into a 5.5 gen housing before, that was all.

I just don't see that happening. It's a shame so many put alot of faith in things, and then get put down when someone doesn't come through. Unless someone can get another company to attempt to offer them, it looks like a loss cause right now.

I know it was discussed a few times, but not many actually ventured to tear up their stock housings to try it.

Wha? That's not the OEM HID housing...those are just the eBay projectors. That car obviously had its HIDs stolen and replaced with eBay projectors. The projector is most certainly NOT retrofitted into anything.

Those are definetly ebay projector housings and not 02/03 retro's. I only know of one 02/03 set with a projector retro.

Hey I dunno If you guys remember this car but it was the one we all called ugly. It had on an R34 body kit and had like TE wheels with winter tires. I dunno, I recognize that system in the trunk and the clifford remote.

No big deal... as you said you don't really care about projectors anyways. I think though, that if you drove behind the brand new lexus ls430, like a 05/06, you might appreciate at least those projectors as they light up almost 5 lanes to each side.

I do like those, they look real nice. Unless I came across some for cheap/free, it would be a while until they are on my priority list. I like Audi's the best though for the record.
