speedo sensor on a 2001.. where is it?

Hey guys,

on a 2001 automatic Maxima, where is the speedo sensor located?

usually its located where the black plug is located.. but it's not there! WTF

can anyone help me?

Leave that plug in place. 5th gens get the speed readings from the toothed rings on the driveshafts. Same sensor that ABS systems uses.
