I'm not sure about service bulletins.
I'm not sure about service bulletins.
Just a simple question.
If I take my 2002 Max to the dealer and say "Please Mr/Mrs Dealer, there are a couple of things wrong with may Maxima that are service bulletins, would you kindly fix it?, will they oblige, laugh, look confused or what?
BTW I have 66k miles.

a TSB (technical service bulletin) is given to dealership by the car company showing them how to fix a common problem. its not a recall so you have to pay for the fix.
i had 5 different tsbs repaired at no cost. (o2 sensors P0140, warping brake rotors twice, ac blower motor noise, wind noise, and the two repairs for a slipping auto tranny). it mostly depends on the dealer and your relationship with them. the tsbs if they are going to be covered are typically 3yr/36k miles.
