Anyone in the atlanta area going tomorrow to turner field. I was reading up and I REALLY need to do this. Im going to try to get everything in for the june 23,24 date. What class would my car be under-2000 Maxima SE w/FSTB, RSB, y pipe, rearexhaust, short shifter, stillen intake? any other advice about the subject would be great.

I was looking at doing this, but I believe I read this weekends event will be unique in that it will be a slalom course. Perhaps that is a different weekend. Maybe I was seeing things. I plan on doing it (participating) myself some time soon.

Generally, slalom and autocross are synonyms, as well as gymkhana.

All the mods you have listed (except for the Y-pipe, I think) should be permitted in Street Touring class(STS or STR depending on your tires). See if you can be put in STS class since it has a better index than even GS. When you register just ask, or not. They'll probably not notice the Y-pipe during tech inspections.

As for advice, keep the RPMs high and don't be afraid to go all the way down to first gear coming out of tight turns. Drink plenty of water during the day and have fun.
