00'SE Grill Opinion

The only aftermarket grill that I have found is the Street Scene grill and I am not particularily in love with it. Here is a picture, below.

Now, I have seen some paint matching done with the stock grill and I liked it pretty well but before I decide 100% to do that do any of you that know of a better grill out there and can tell me where to get it from, or do you think this Street Scene grill might look alright paint matched? Right now I am 90% sure I will stick with the stock and do a paint match of my gunmetal grey paintjob.

for threadjacking....

to answer the original question - there are quite a few grilles out there available, plus there are options to paint the OEM grille or do the "home depot" mesh grille (which goes behind the OEM grill and is what I have).

The site is being wierd. No pictures on it will load and I am not having any problem with any other site. I sent them an e-mail to let them know about it. Thanks for the info though, soon as they get it back up I will take a peek at what they've got.

.

00/01 grille and bumper are one piece. If you want the aftermarket grille for it you will need to cut the grille out or zip tie the grille onto the OEM. Which I would recommend since it allows you the option to go back to stock.

02/03 grille can never fit 00/01 bumper although 02/03 grille and bumper is not one piece.

To achieve what you want, you will need to get the whole thing both the grille and bumper.

No, I am not gunmetal grey yet. I'm going to be as soon as I get back state side and take the car in. I've already worked out a price with a local shop.

I'm getting jdub's kit so I will be removing the bumper anyways, that is why I wanted to go ahead and get an aftermarket grill. It shouldn't be a problem with that being the case, right?

Both grilles were painted flat black. I plan to repaint to gloss black as well.
