^^^

That makes sense.

Yeah for the 00-01 Maxima's TL would be the best bet. Unbelivable projectors. Did you see our post with modded TL that produced orange/red light?

IMO Maxima's below the 6th gen should not be seen with projectors.

Trust me you don't know how right you are! I recently went with my Dad to pick up his new (used) 2001 LS430 ultra luxury package. The thing is we live in Colorado and he bought it in Miami. The first night on the road I hit the high beams and it was as if the sun came out. Driving that car on a long road trip was incredible. Between the massaging rear seats, laser cruise control, and awesome headlights it made for a nice trip.

Thought all Maxima owners were ballers. :P

J/K aside...you can get a setup for far less than the one. The price depends on the projectors and the shrouds. In this case, the customer wanted the two most popular/expensive shrouds and combined into one.

still waiting for the headlights, I should get them tomorrow & installed them on Sat. I will post pic of the cut off by Sat night.

Be in the look out for upcoming pics of the cut off.

I went all the way on my set-up, reason is nobody has this set-up yet on a maxima.

YES I see this too, is this because thats how it has to sit to be aligned right? THAT far out? os is the bowl so deep that you have to go in that deep to clear the rear cover please explain?

I am doing this soon but with TSX, I think the bowl is smaller though, please lemme know why. Also is the headlight from ebay, the one with the halo and did you simply swap the lense and bowl out?

Pls contact my retrofiter Bjorn with customligthz.com, I ask the same question but that's the way it sit, & the light output it's perfect.

check out their website it has all the prices & instructions www.customlightz.com.

Hi. The pirctures don't justify how bright these modded S2000 projectors really are, or the CCFL or the Angel Eyes for that matter. Also, because of the angle the projector appears to stick out more than it really is.

In any case, the projector is sitting a little further than average, and that is due to partially the S2000 projector which is a large projector. The shape of it is oval instead of most german projectors which are cylindrical. This is one of the explainations, however; why the S2000 has such as wide beam pattern. Also, the custom shroud combo of the E46 and A4 is another factor. The A4 shroud is very large, and it would have to be cut a lot in order to get the shrouds pushed in even further. A third reasoning is the CCFL that is behind the Shrouds...

This retrofit is very clean and originial, but if someone wanted a more modest setup, yes we could get the projector to sit a little further back.

IMO it looks really good... especially with those rims and aftermarket brakes in this pic

I also like how you have blue DDEs and not the traditional white. Some may say its but I think its not overdoing it and keeping things classy.
Good Job man!

ive seen it done, dont remember who tho, so that probably doesnt help you out. imo it looks really weird, most people have "upgraded" to the ebay lights and retroed those or just used the 5.5 gen housings.
