2k2 Headlight Black-out Help/Advice

well i searched the how to's, searched and couldnt come up with anything. just saw the end results of a few max's with the 2k2 hids blackened out.

is there any link to a possible 'how to' or advice anyone that did the mod could give? i bought some black semi gloss high temp paint.. i guess just tape off the front shield when spraying the bottom part, as well as the chrome around the ring section of the high/low beams and the turns/parking lights?

just really dont want to ruin the lights, too much money at risk.

to be honest with you... its easy... follow housecor's instruction on how to open it... cover the reflective portion of ur high and low and as well as the crome outer ring and begin spray painting... me i jus used normal spray paint nuttin glossy jus a nice subtle dull look but i installed my dde's at the same time... btw do let the paint dry out ... i was a dumbass thinking that 15 min later it was dried up and left a thumb print on it and had to sand it out... other than that ur good to go... u can also clear out ur signal lights as well if u want to... wen you paint the signal light portion put tape on both the front and the back of the clear lense and if ur keeping ur amber lens... it helps reason being the spray paint does tend to fly aroudn in the air and mine some how got painted in the other side as well so i fixed that up with some nail polish remover... other than that jus paint install and ur good to go...
