PICS NEEDED: Your 5th gen painted ABS lip & experience...

...how did it fit? I have heard some horror stories about them, just curious how your fit and how it looks?

i got both front and rear, tried to install it, and it looks PITA,
short on the sides....
so i called some body shops, and they told me that they'll charge me anywhere from $40 to $80 to install it.....
so i'll have to pay them to have them install it...
if i could choose rite now between ABS or STillen... i woudl pay $100 bucks more to get Stillen, and to not have to mess with it...
i hope this helps lol

I've just received my rear ABS Lip it looks to fit fine, but I haven't installed it yet only briefly held it up to the rear bumper, I bought mine on the strength of at least 4 or 5 other org members who said they fit really well no problems. Wish now I'd kept their PM's but I needed to clear some space. Can't say anything about the front. Hopefully some installed owners will jump in.

Not so fast....my rear piece doesn't fit without some major cutting and molding. Spend the extra money and get the Stillen.

got both. Front fitment sucks but I made it work and work well. I had to dremel the passanger side a little to make it fit. I also had to push the sides of the front in so it wouldn't flare out as much. The sides of the front lip are bigger than the stillen's but I am glad because my side skirts are huge.

See sig for rear.

I have both front and rear abs dynamic lips. The back fit fine with any problem but the front need some work to make it fit. My body shop was able to installed them for me and it turned out really good. My sides are from stillen of course.

I used to have one on my 2k and it fit well. I liked it a lot. The only reason i go rid of it was because i got a 2k2-2k3 front end.

Minus the headlights, how much did your front end conversion cost? I am really thinking about doing this.

I too had the same problem .. i had to dremel around where the passenger fog light to make it fit totally. after you play with it awhile it goes on perfect .. oh and make sure you have a helping hand and make sure that helping hand isnt short temper like me..I was ready to break that POS until he kept me calm..

Well i paid like $100 for a brand new unpainted bumper, $65 for the grille used, I also bought a new hood because mine had a dent in it. Then i think like 300 for painting both.

ABS rear fitment is fine. Don't waste your money for a 'stealin'.

$150 is a fair asking price for both + paint. Most shops have closed off rooms with heaters in them for their painting work and such. In which case the temp is no problem.
