A Audi S4 with chip and turbo back exhaust versus a SC Maxima 5 sp. Who would win in the 1/4 mile and top end? Reason I am asking is because my brother-in-law just bought the S4 and so I asked him for a ride since him and his friends were saying how hard it pulls on the highway(says he pulls on his brothers 5sp 98 M3 with intake and exhaust)He then proceeded to say why dont we take the Maxima out with his S4 so he can spank it. I said well you would now but I'm not too sure you would once I get my SC. He said that he would still waste me. Oh well I guess there's only one way to find out....Ring Ring Hello Stillen...

I think a chipped S4 with exhaust would have like 300-310 hp at the crank (correct me if I am wrong). The SC max would probably have around 280 or so at the crank.

No question...the S4 would dominate. Without the chip, It would be a better race.

APR gives the following performance for just the chip:

I'd imagine exhaust should add another 10-20 hp easily. Plus they have six gears.

Actually the S4 weighs a little more... the manual shows: 3593lb and 3704 lb for the auto. With AWD the S4 would kill on the launches too.

I personally would take an S4... but there are probably many others who would go with the M3.

Old M3 vs. S4 ---- I'd pick the S4
