Question after exhaust install.

I just had my new Cattman B-pipe and Muffler installed today, I had the boys up at Nissan do it and they did an excellent job.

I was wondering if disconnecting the Battery to reset the ECU will do anything or force the computer to reset. I asked them up at Nissan and they told me that it will not change anything, however I wonder about them sometimes. Any advice on whether or not I should give it a few hours without power?

Also about how long should I estimate the exhaust will need to get burnt in and situated with the car? I hear that it will gain a little sound and flow better over time.

Thanks

Most Nissan service departments cannot pull that off.

Unplugging the battery doesn't reset the ECU for the 5.5 Gens. The FAQs/How Tos have the info on that, but you don't have to reset it for pretty much any bolt-ons.

Never heard that before. I thought the deposit build up makes it quieter. Don't think it changes the flow either.

Very subtle... but no, they are not off the car yet. Hit me up on IM/MSN sometime.
