Ahh I was thinking they had a kit that was the black tri, like how the 5th gen tailights are. Ide love to do that instead of buying the whole tailights.

Just watch those fog light overlays. I had the yellow ones from Lamin-X, and they ended up getting dark spots (looked like burns) in the center. I guess the fog lights get too hot for them. I don't know if the Batmobile ones can handle heat better than the Lamin-X ones, but I would imagine that they're made of similar materials. Keep an eye on it.

are you using stock bulbs? even tho i think the stock bulbs still get pretty hot sometimes but i haven't had any burn marks on mine...had them almost 2 years now.

Yes. I have the stock bulbs and stock fog lamps. The passenger side lens had a very small hole in the center from what looked like a rock chip or something (which is why I got the Lamin-X in the first place). I thought maybe that's why the Lamin-X on that side was burning, but then the same burns showed up on my driver's side Lamin-X overlay, and the lens on that side had no cracks in it.

I realize this is a bit late and that most of this is about the rear lights, but I would like to see the eyelids made.

Chill out man, I know the red is overlayed. I was referring to the housing itself, I forgot BlueBatMobile made the full smoked with the brake cut out.

maan those redouts are cleean!! but i got one question and im not tryna be an a$$. but why in the heck does everybody beat around the bush on making FULLY blacked out film tails? i dont get it, like will you supply them later or what. example, like lamin-x they have every headlight and body film you can put on a maxima, but they got the tails for every other car besides the maxima on there

kencapel, BlueBatMobile has them. Email him. I ordered probably the first set, but unfortunately have not been installed because I am waiting on new taillights, which are now being replaced by UPS... after months. But yeah, send him an email. He has the full smoked overlays.

Would it even be worth putting overlays (like a 6/10 kit) on the stock yellow and red side markers? Like would you be able to see the tint of the overlay? If anyone has done this, please post pics. And could you double layer overlays? Thanks

Bat, do you still sell the foglight overlays? I did not see them in your image gallery. Thanks.

Edit: Do the 6th gen bumper lamp overlay ones fit the 5.5 gen fog light?

Wow Prophecy99. They look great. I don't mind the reverse light, were you going to cover it with the same tint as the housing?

I agree!!! Nice work guys!

It's like the way I want mine to look, but I need to red out the turn signal.

As you can still see...it's orange lol

BTW can I get a close up pic of the side where the tail curves towards the rear fender?

I've seen tint jobs where it doesn't quite cover that part using ebay kits. How easy was it to put on the tint?

I can pm ya a pic in a lil while, lots of mods going on next few days!!
It actualy fit perfect IMO. And to be honest it wasnt easy. It took about an hour for the smoke overlays. But keep in mind he offers full smoke overlays which would be VERY easier than the GTR covers.
I saw that ebay kit and I was very tempted to get it for so cheap why not just a 20 bill but then I looked at the damn thing twice and it appeared as it didnt even cover any of the corner, just the flat area, really bad!
This kit overlays everything possible. When I did mine I was wonderingabout the chrome still being visible around the red circle at certain extreme angles but it is all covered up nicely. IE: You can see a little bit of orange lense beyond the red cover in the one light blue car as the pic was looking more straight down.

Don't mess with the ones from flea bay. Spence Diggy got it and it was horrible. Didn't fit properly and the material was too thin. Which in turn means you couldn't heat it up and stretch it to make it fit.

Go with Bat set up or just buy the lamin-x sheet and do your own custom set up. That is what I did.
